Removing heater

Right i need to remove the heater,which is in the middle behind the dash,and i was just wondering how does this come out,do i have to disconnect something in the bonnet?

I have all the dash out,just need to remove heater!

2 pipes attached in the bulkhead

Do the pipes need plumbing back into each other or can you just block them off?.

And do you have to drain the coolant or can you get away with nipping off the pipes?.

Got dash out, just dint wanna pull heater out without checkin i can block the pipes off.

nope you cant just block them off you need to join them together if your not putting the heater matrix back in, remember to top up fluid and bleed :)
