Ok, Ive just baught a new stereo for my saxo and i dont have a clue how to get the old one out. Ive baught the keys for the holes but from there i dont know. I cant take out the Plastic bit arround the air con, stereo etc because the stereo looks to be stopping it from comming out. What do i need to do? Ive looked on the forums and there doesnt seem to be anything that could help me here.
Thanks,
Mikey

So its not a standard sterio? does it have 4 holes either? 2 either side of the unit or not?
EDIT: To get the standard sterio out your need the keys that fit into the 4 holes. Once the keys are locked in, slip your hand up the back and give it a push and it should just slide straight out

oh, you need the correct key then to fit it in each side of the sterio. Then they should feel asif they are stuck into the hole and the sterio should slide out. What keys have you bought?

so i take it its like a U-Bend with 2 ends? Just bend it so its straight and slot them in either hole them push it from the back

I dont know because i've had 2 saxos and both have had aftermarket headunits in. Try pushing it into the hole and then pushing from the back. Get your arm up behind the centre console and push the sterio from behind
