Hi
Last week sent my saxo into the garage for a knocking noise when i put full lock on, anyway just got it back today they have fitted a new ball joint or something like that. Its still making the noise its when i turn my wheel there is one knocking /cluncking noise n its realli pissing me off. The garge said that the ball joint had split fair enuff if it has but it shouldnt be making that noise surely if they have fixed it any sugestions anyone?
thanks:y:

Hey mate. I also have this problem with my car. With mine it was the CV bearing. In your case it could be the CV joint aswell. This happens to me around every 12 months which i have to get mine replaced as i have it lowered. hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

has your front been lowered without changing dampers?
if has, its likely to be you dampers mate :)

It could easily be any of these. If you take it to a performance garage they will more than likely be able to diagnose your problem, unlike the crappy little garages that just say oh yeh its this and then it turns out not to be. Imo

C.V Joint, could also be the driveshaft or the roll bar bracket if thats really loose just 2x13mm bolts that need tightneing, try that first.
