Well my brother drives a claped out volvo paid £400 for it with 40k on the clock,

a woman pulled out of a juction got hit by another car that sent her flying into my bro's volvo. ( she was over the limit with 2 kids in the back)

anyway my bro got a call ," hi sir your lease car is on its way to you and will be there in around 20 mins".

belting waited in with him as i wanted to noisy wat it was , next thing looked out the window a old style focus was outside with a chap with a hi vis on sat inside, thought belting its here laughed at his sheddy car.

but no knock on the door , until i next looked out the window to find this...

a 09 plate bmw 520 m with ready for it ??? 200 miles :P he oviously let me have a drive round the local estate ect and it is ooober quick.

the reason he managed to get this is because the rental company only have car that are bout 20k and no older than 6 months old. plus he is 6ft 8 and hurt his back in the crash.

ill get a proper pick when i nip home later.

ooo and its a 2.0l turbo die-sel pushing 200bhp <---- thats what the lease man said..

no but till diesel so more torqe plus rear wheel drive , it is really quick spec wen i drive a 1.4

best feature i think is there is no spare wheel as standard because the alloys are wrapped in run flats

they're only 20kg heavier than an older 320d, so they actually have more bhp per tonne which isn't too shabby. torquey diesel stops it feeling too heavy. i got wheelspin changing into 2nd ;) lol

sorry to say but 520d Diesels only have 160bhp 0-60 in 8.4

525d Diesels have 194bhp
or
530d Diesels have 227bhp

we run two 07 plate 530m sports at work and for a car that big they are not sluggish they are all mid range grunt, and they are good for a bit of sideways action
