Got my wheels throught 16s with 20mm spacers for correct fitment just wondering on how to go about lowering it really will be using 195/40/16 tyres just to give that extra bit of room looking to go 50mm really so my questions simply are

will the spacers affect how low i can go?

will i have to make arch mods?

my brother on his gti had 185,55,14's, but now he has got 195/40/16s,
and we put both wheels next to each other, and the 16" wheels are like 3mm higher, so if you do it, go for a 195/40/16 tyre, and you can go as low as you want, tbh, just watch how far the wheels hang out on the spaces though, as they could catch your acrh if there to far out,

ok good info there bud was just thinking of getting the spax adjustable kit then i can set it as high or low as i want then i dont need to worry what size kit to get because if i was to get a 40mm kit i might think it still sits to high but if i got a 50- 60mm kit it might be to low and rub.:y:

if your using spacers to corect ford wheels to fit (so 20mm to bring the et to between 15-18) you wont really need to worry as long you dont g below about 50mm
