i understand everything about solving the problem when it happens on the street lights, but what when it's happening when you're driving!?
i got my car on 2000 - 3000 rpm, music isn't all the way up, and the lights are flashing.

car is a 2.0HDi xsara, so there should be a pretty powerful alternator. really dont understand where's the problem.
battery is 2 years old and i'm going to replace it pretty soon, perhaps this month

i've done some measuring today

here's what i got:
resistance from (-) on battery to chassis is 0.03 ohm, same as from amp to battery
voltage on the system when car is turned off is 12.68V (on the battery) and 12.66V on the amp. when turned on, voltage rises to 14.4V on battery and 14.38V on amp

i think that's normal and everything is connected optimally

now, if i go and do the Big Three, how thick cable should i use? in sqmm, please smileys/smiley9.gif

On my old furio, I has a lot of I.C.E ect and when the subs kicked in the rear lights would flicker. An Uprated battery solved this problem!
