spanner on dashboard

a spanner has come up on my dashboard, does anyone know what it means?

ive got a 2002 1.1 desire

time for a service :y: if you service it your self to reset the spanner turn the ignition off then hold downt the left button whilst you turn the ignition back on and it should count down from 10, when it has thats it reset :y:

i sometimes do long distance drives, will my car be ok up until i have its service done?

My car had its service light on when i bought it but i got ross off sax-p to change my oil and cambelt etc and then i re-set it manualy

probs just worth doing a minor service dependant on your mileage, the reset it yourself ;)
