Hi.
The outer CV boot on the drivers side of my VTS has started leaking :n:
Is the CV boot hard to replace? Do I need to completley remove the driveshaft or can it be done in situ by releasing the bust CV boot end from the hub?
I did search for a guide but couldn't find one.
Thanks!

is the gaitor split? it happend on mine and it was just the clip which had snapped, meaning it could be pulled back on and clipped back in place

Yeah sadly the gaiter is split. Doh!
I've seen a few 'stretch fit' gaiter kits where you use a cone to stretch the gaiter on to the shaft. That be cool yeah? And it's 3 bolts to disconnect the shaft from the hub isn't it?
Thanks.

not sure, get your haynes out!
with mine it was just the seal that broke, hence the grease pissed everywhere, i could just get at it by hand without removing the wheel

Nice one, thanks.
Do motor factors sell the cone ones?
