I was experiencing some problems with ignition saxo 2000 diesel 1.5
and after getting battery of 66A it is better now. Now I wanted to know what is the maximum battery voltage to put it in. Previously it was 44A.

The biggest the battery location will take!
The 44 or 66 is the amount maximum it will give out in an hour with out the engine running!
The car will only use what it needs

But I'm sure it ignites better than before. How do you explain that?

the amps are greater which helps it crank over

66a amps is its max capacity output.
66a means itl give out 66amps for an hour.
same for 44a.
what ignites better?
the reason is because the 44a battery was probably farked and couldn't crank properly, the new batter obv has more cranking power as it can give a higher current.
all batteries are 12v for car's.
the biggest one you can fit is the biggest on that will go into the tray, iam not sure what it is though tbh

But in the winter battery can be weak as half of normally power. So if I put over 66A that fits in battery space it will do no harm?

No it wöt do any harm at all.
I always fit a diesel battery to my cars as they give out a higher cold cranking power
