How to check if my saxo is a Mk1 / mk2

Basically my saxo has been modded alot, and had alot of things places on it.

Dont give me a stupid reply like, Has it got a mk1 grill or mk2 grill.

Im not that stupid.

Because it could have had a complete new set of wings and so on.

Anyway,

How can i find out?

you could ring up citroen and give them your reg

If thats the case, ill just ring them.

id imagine they would be able to tell you as they would know what parts would fit your car such as headlights, cat etc. knowing these things could easily determine whether yours is a mk1 or mk2

I dont think you understand, THe rear is the same the same on a Mk1 / Mk2, but my car had a front end smash once,

So a set of Mk2 wings + Lights + slam panel or w.e could have been placed onto my car,

Thats why im asking.

I know the difference between a mk1 and a mk2, im just trying to find out what my CAR actually is.

look on log book to see which year it was made mk2 start around 2000 i believe

Edit: Just seen your progress thread, W reg = 2000 which is a MK2.

Looking at your progress thread it currently has a MK2 front end on it and is a W reg which visually they were all changed to the Mk2 front end by this year

your reg states its mk2 so if thats the origanal reg plate for thew car its correct.

o i see , i forgot to add that my car is a mark 2 but only a v reg (1999)

My car is one of, if not the first registered Mk2. September 1999

My reg is V731 HEU and it is a Mk2 and I know this saxo with the reg
V732 HEU and it is a Mk1.

Thats basically saying Post up a photo where check to see if it has a mk1 end or a mk2 end.

And as i have already said i know if its a mk1 or mk2, but its possible to change the whole frontend, so i wanted to find out what the actual frontend was.
