Right,
I have found a vtr, for the right price, and the guy is willing to swap my 106 1.1 + some cash his way?
But my question is.....will i regret not going 16v? As ive heard vtr gearbox's are a bit slugish
I need honest answers

Why does he want the 1.1 over a VTR is what i'd be asking myself.
Edit: If you can afford a VTS.. get one you won't regret it.

the vtr aint that sluggish but i would say get a vts if you can afford it. wish i had got one :( but the vtr is cheap to run and insure so it depends what you want

If your going to improve the power you may aswell start with 120 rather than spending more money to get 120 and then having to spends loads to go any further.

Hmm if you can afford the insurance, the 20 bhp is completely worth it, ask any ex vtr current vts driver. It may seem like just 20 bhp but it's the powerband and how that power is delivered, it's not a simple as a 20 bhp gain.

Now thinking about it, I maybe get used too the R, then after a year of saving, i could drop a 16v in it, and take my time getting the valver to how i want it
