vts rims on a 1.1

is it seriously true that for me to get vts or even vtr rims on my mk1 1.1sx i have to change the hubs and then the rear axle? im just wondering because i've seen a few 1.1's with vtr rims. i hope it isnt true because my mechanic has jus found me vts rims for £200 all 4 with tyres almost new.

its only true if you have 3 stud hubs

yup i had the same problem when i tried to change mine because they are 3 stud

aslong as its 4 stud it will fit fine, didn't think MK1 1.1 had 4 stud wheels though. don't blaime me if they don't fit because you don't have 4 stud wheels smileys/smiley17.gif

yeh, seen VTR on base model Saxo but not seen a VTS one on a base model, well not without a VTR/S lump in there!

That's wrong mate. The last edition of the 1.1 definetely has 4 stud because I've seen mine smileys/smiley17.gif

no mine is a mk1 with the straight lights not the circular ones, its a 1998 model and its 4 studs. well hopefully i'll have the 1st or one of a few 1.1's with vts rims

whar reg your MK1 mate? i got a R reg 1.0 which only 3 stud smileys/sad.gif be well gutte if there was some base models MK1 with 4 stud! always the option of buying VTR/S hubs etc but thats cash i don't have so selling and buying another when poss is alot easier smileys/happy.gif
