Looking around for what pads to go for in my wilwood midilites (dynapro ndl) calipers.
Had the smart bp10 pads - wank for track
mintex m1144 - wank for track
Was going to test there poly matrix e pads at £69.50 excl vat and use them purely for track.
The mintex m1155 i cant see being worth £89 excl vat or what ever they were.
Can get the ebc yellow pads from brakes4u.co.uk for £69.50 all in.
Anyone tried them?

I think the 1144's were only poor because we were completing a lap in 50 odd seconds with three heavy braking points in that time. I reckon a normal track length wouldnt see them being as poor as they were

Ebc green crap
ebc red crap
ebc yellow not tried but cant c them being much different to the rest of there range.
If you look at ebc own blurb they say even green pads the saxo isnt heavy enough for to work them at optimum!
stop messing about and get proper pads by pagid!
The rs range are spot on!

Swampy not sure if you read they are not for standard calipers.
cant get pagid for my calipers i dont think?
Only seen
EBC
Wilwood
Mintex and the m1155 are made to order so got to wait 6weeks for those minimum!
Been reading on the scooby sites who have the same wilwood calipers.
Their views...
EBC green = shite and eat disks
EBC Red = ok for a while then fry, lots of brake dust, medium eatage of disk
EBC Yellow (the new compound) = barely any brake dust, hard initial bite, good once heated and no fade, and dont munch disks

they have gone anyway nowt left of them, 1k miles or something lol
Initial bite was really good, brake dust is a total joke.

The Mintex 1144 is not really a dedicated trackpad. The 1155 would be a better choice. the problem with these track compounds including EBC is they really need to be hot to work properly, road use does not get heat in and you end up with longer braking distances.
The really good compounds cost a lot of money and you get what you pay for.

Redstuff are ceramic which is harder compound than the yellow.. so in fairness yellow stuff wont need as much heat as its a softer material
