I started today. Loved every minute of it, a job I love doing can't go wrong there!
Got to work at 8am, and the day included a full valet on a Citroen Picasso that had been traded in, a valet on a skoda estate that was due to be picked up then started on a brand new skoda octavia tri that had just come in, it still had the protective plastic vinyl on it was that new
got to drive it round the complex too which was sweeeet
i cant wait for work tomorrow, as sad as that sounds haha

glad you enjoy your new job.
I've been working with the same company for close to 12years. Needless to say i have seen the error of my ways (staying too long in one company). I need out and soon.

Wow 12 years, i'm still working for the Italian resteraunt ive been working at for 5 years.. want to leave though bored of it now

Started my training in 1996 then went to my company in '97, been working since i was 16 never been paid off, plus i've never done a CV !

i work as a valeter at mercedes ive been there 3 years and still love it, get to drive loads of different cars that get traded in and no two days are the same. what products do they use Mr Houston just out of interest?

All the auto smart range, some of the products I rate and some I dont really
We also have 2 car washes on the complex and 2 jet wash/steam wash facilites

i really enjoy valeting its good getting paid to do something you like. just wait till the 1st of september for 59 plate you`ll be busy then!

We do 100+ cars on a Saturday in 4 hours lol, that shall be a challenge. We use the 2 car washes for customers on a Saturday, if you're a customer you get a free wash and you get free cakes/tea/coffee/refreshments i nthe internet cafe in the main bulding above the show rooms lol

so do you do valeting for cars going out during the week and then on sats just wash the customers cars?

Everyday we do valets/buffs for cars that have been part exchanged, new cars just come in but have been sitting in the paddock, cars customers have bought. We use the car washes on those too before we valet them, then on saturday its mainly just the 'wash n go' thing 8-12

yer cool we have seperate car cleaners that just wash customers cars all week so i just do valeting on sold cars and trade ins, its a good job you find some cool stuff in cars that get traded in too lol

Lol havn't found anything yet, that shall be my mission! I'll get some pics of any sexy cars we get in.. i'm off to bed in at 8am again :D
