Hi recentely ive noticed the differance in my audio, i have a subbox powered by a 400w amp and also two 6x9's on the parcel shelf, i know you shouldn't have 6x9s if you have a sub box but these ones have good audio playback with some songs. However some songs that have a low bass thuds through the 6x9's which i dont like. If i was to disconnect the 6x9's from the amp and wire them to the rear car speakers will i only get treble through the 6x9's and the bass through the sub box?
Iv'e just recentely customised my own parcel shelf and if i take out the 6x9's then im left with a horrible hole
any suggestions?
Thanks

just turn the channel the 6x9s are on to a hipass filter, this will cut out all the bass going to them.

there should be a switch on the am that is marked hipass full or low pass, switch it to hipass so you only let the hi end of the music to the speakers.

Cheers mate i think i did this but it did the sub box aswell???
Why could this be
also i have a switch on the amp that allows me to change from full bass, bass and trebble. Same again it puts treble through the sub box, all im wanting is to remove the bass from the 6x9's so that the you get music out of it and leave the sub box for the bass
Thanks
