Kenwood prob in vtr

Just installed my Kenwood kdc 3031a but having afew probs , powering up goes to standby then after afew secs shuts down ! also i plugged in the radio ant no sound from speakers no hiss nothing !! , the iso i have has been cut so i have wired back together think i done a good job !! , any ideas ? cheers

think i had the same one as that. when i was messing about i turned the amp off on the head unit and got no sound thro it. as for powering up and off no ideas

still having probs here , power keeps turning off to the head unit , no sound too ! had another look at the wires everything is secure , reversed red and yellow just incase that changed anything ! but still does the same old thing !!

Problem solved time to celebrate :drink: it was the speaker wires making it short out , new prob now is that i have snapped of the radio ant input plug to the back of the head unit ! i'll have to start a new thread on this !! LOL
