why do you like it lol?
and yes you can attach amplifier but basically cause there are no RCA outs it makes it a lot harder and the converters you have to use have terrible sound quality
Just get an aftermarket headunit

Hello fella, If you really want to add a sub and run comps then the best plan (sq wise particularly) is to buy an aftermarket head unit and use the RCA outputs from that.
But if you're hell bent on using the standard head unit, then you can do that too, no problem. There's plenty of amps on the market that will take the 'high level/speaker' outputs from the standard hu and run fine.
From experience I know Audison's srx range of amps will do this for you no problem, and there's plenty others too.
Have a gander and see if it's what you're after. The main thing really is you're gonna be somewhat restricted with eq adjustability because of your standard hu, but it's up to you dude.
Hope this helps, any questions don't hesitate.

had it wired up with aftermarket headunit in my old 106 but like the standard one cos buttons for radio are all easy to locate so dont have to take my eyes off the road as much. easy to press without looking. nearly back ended someone in 106 down to bad music on radio and changing channel lol
only options ive seen for using standard head unit is to disconnect some of the current speakers in the car to swap for rca output and i want both front and back.
seems like ill be putting in an aftermarket headunit again
