is it cost effective to recon a rear axle ure self or just buy a recond unit ???:P

recon units go for a lot of cash. you can do your own.
its a lot more simple to buy andother.
(i have a vtr beam on a car at the moment. tortion bars out, so if your intereste i can set the height at what you want £180)

ive got a vtr which am breakin also so have a rear axle am just gana recon that cheers boss

I beg to differ (although i'm a newbie and most won't listen) but the parts needed to rebuild a beam about £60, i've done so many of them now. 106/saxo beams are a peice of cake compared to 306's.
