Fitting Components to headunit only ( no amp)

As title basically... got my new Jbl 507c's jus wondered how to i connect to head unit... is it jus take the standard door speakers out and connect the new ones to the existing wire or will i have to be buying or chopping wire and stuff... Thanks in advance

Connect the wires from the crossover to the existing wire where the standard door speakers are.

Before i got an amp i just cut the connector of the end and then just connected the wires together

what about the speakers then...wheres the wire coming from to connect them ... all i have is the 2 speakers but no wire came attatched.. the only wire i got was from the tweeters and i think some from the cross overs... i jus thought i would put the speakers in place of the standards.... or do you mean you connect the speakers to the existing wires ASWELL as the cross overs ? i did search on here but cant find nothing... only references to amped setups.
