Driving Style/Position

Many people talk about the best way to drive your car.


Im going to put TWO sections in this thread..

Section 1 : Driving Position

Seat nearly vertical
Seat slightly lowered back
Seat Back even more..
Seat so far pack you can only just touch the steering wheel


Section 2 : Driving Style

Driving fast in a straight line
Driving fast round corners
Accelerating to the speed limit as fast as possible
None of the above - Average driver - Relaxed

Personally for S1 im #2
And for S2 im usually #3

Seat vertical (fixed bucket), quite far back, just close enough that I can keep arms bent when holding the wheel.
Driving fast up to the limit (serious), but not slowing as much for corners.

Driving position is upright fixed bucket, reasonably far back. My style is a bit mixed up, mixed between relaxed and driving fast round corners and well everywhere as long as its safe. (obviously no blitzing it through 20mph an 30mph zones lol.

Drive relaxed although I do sometimes accelerate pretty fast up to the limit if I'm a weird kind of mood but I don't rag my car as it's a 1.1 and I'd look like a class A twat.

Think im 2 & 4, Im pretty chilled out but sometimes after being stuck behind some slow cockhead or cut up or something I do go pretty quick to let off some steam.

when your as big as me youve only got 1 choice as far back as the seat will go lmfao in the vts the seat was as far back as it would go both way that was hilarious. my problems my legs ill never ever be able to toe and heal because the wheels in the way of my knees thanjfuck the celicas got an omp and is adjustable never had so much room in a car and a bit of a choice still cant toe and heal ive tried legs are just too long.

Mmm being a biker and when im not on the bike, im always getting upto speed as quick as i can, and bassicly caining it when the fuck i want and shit like i would on my bike which is 0-60 in under 3 seconds lol

but recently, ive noticed... im being a knob. lol, so now i just sit there cruising at the limit/under the limit, with the r&b playing and seat back as far as i can get it with my gangsta lean on. (lol)

but then again if i get the chance for a race, im off :fcuk: (which up in this cruising scene is like.. allot lol currently asbo'd for it :wacko:)

bolt up right, steering wheel right up in my chest like in the radical sr4, drive like a cunt everywhere. boot it to speed limit, and dont slow down for anything. town driving i just roll around like im in the paddock

I like to sit relatively close to the steering wheel (limited by knee room mostly) to get good leverage on the steering wheel. The back position is the same angle as my bucket seats,

section 2 - Non of the above lol
On the road I drive very smoothly. No point in haring about.
On the track I'll wring every bit of speed I can out of the car, limited only by grip / driver skill ;)

I tend to have my seat a little of vertical,
have the seat all the way back otherwise my legs are too cramped, but I can still rest my wrist on the top of the wheel.
