I saw this on a local cruise site, it looks like a decent project so thoughts I'd post some pics up here.

That Saxo looks horrible. The exhaust comes way too far out, the light brows just look tacky and that grill is just weird. Tbh I don't mind the Spoiler that much though.

I always thought brows were horrible tbh. There's no point but adding more weight. And that exhaust is just god awful. Walk behind the car and trip over it.

Yes saxosports tuning went bust in 2001 (god damb ex wife!!!)
The saxo was THE original development car which went threw many changes.
Times and tastes have changed over the last 7-8 years so naturally its gonna look out the ordinary today..This was probably on the scene when most you guys hadnt even passed your teasts lol..
The C2 is definately not for sale as development on phase 2 is gearing up for over winter.
The kit on the C2 is a love it or hate it bit like marmite!!!
everyone who has't liked it in pics and then seen it in the flesh change there minds straight away.

yes true it is 20mm higher now (beauty about coilovers)
Can still get over most speed bumps now so not too bad really.

That saxo was from circa 1999/2000 iirc. the SST airbox wasnt arround long.

People never seem to realise that cars were modded 10 years ago :D

C2 would be nice without the kit v6 in the rear for sbarro was cool :P

The SSt ram cooler was the original design that spurned all forced induction kits around nowadays..
With the C2 I needed to put that front bumper on to give me more room in the engine bay for the rad and fan etc..
the standard bumper didn't have the the room behind it or even enough open space for cooling properties.
The second V6 is going in the rear over winter so then she'l boogy

The feature Gary's saxo had in Revs was back in 2000 I think,im sure Gary will correct me if im wrong.At that time his was at the front of Saxo modifying.
There wasnt as many companies specialising in Performance and modified parts at this time.
I had my feature in Revs with my first saxo a few months after his i think.

The C2 does look cool mate,im going to have to a run out one day and catch up and you can take me for a run out!!

Yes your crack on here Chris it was featured in all the top mags from 1998 upto 2001 (fast car, revs, maxpower,pgti,and revs cover)

Yeah your right there,trends do change and back then you couldnt buy off the shelf aftermarket parts for saxo's!!!! I can remember the pre lexus light days of the saxo modding world.
It was often the case of making things fit from other cars alot of the time.
And there was no "search" button on SSC back then if anyone ever got stuck!!

and im sure i had my 17's on mine before Gary....was only by a couple of days though if my memory serves me right.

Y33 was Gav Yeung's car and the red/magenta saxo with the carbon was Gav Strongs.

Im now starting to look for ideas on a wide arch set up for the c2, seen a couple on the market but dont really float my boat..
So wanna put it to all u guys and girls to come up with designs and ideas for me to use then build the kit..
the car is to be built and finished by mid march so you'l all be able to see in the flesh at various shows next year sporting twin engines and wide arched. All help muchly appreciated

This is insane top marks to you fella. Really like the c2 it's different and the kit doesn't look awful neither!

As for the kit you just posted it looks too much like a proton satria's old kit (on the arch)
