sounds good, just check you have enough room on your rims for the 10mm tape. its also worth noting that the narrower the tape the easier it is to bend around the wheel and less likely to crease as bike wheels on the whole have a larger diameter than car wheels

try get the stuff in a roll as you will be able to make it fit car wheels perfectly

ok so what about this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6-mm-Wheel-Rim-Stickers-tape-stripe-decal-trim_W0QQitemZ130322537037QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Ca rsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item1e57d41a4d&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
same stuff just 6mm, so youre saying a 6mm one would fit/look better ?

gaz4399

6mm would be easier to bend if you got in in a roll form. its all a matter of personal opinion, if you have enough room on your rim then go for 10mm if thats what you prefer

Would prefer a 10mm tbh.
Im not sure how these work, do they come joined as a cirle so its one fit? Or do you stick it round and cut it to fit ?
Btw they are going on VTR alloys

it will just be like a roll like regular tape. you would apply it to the rim and sut it off when you have gone all the way round

McGuire86

ahh ok cool, so it would fit onto the vtr alloys fine?
also do they go onto the alloy lip? or onto the tyre ?

They are on the rim mate, they wouldn't stick to the tyre I don't think, would look way better on the rim in my opinion

Does not come on a roll. It comes as lots of slightly curved pieces.

The stuff on rolls is pin-stripe and is the same suff, but alot harder to put on as it's not curved.

Ebay or moterbike shop...

Motrax do rim tape which is on a roll, it also comes with an applicator, but doesn't work with vtr alloys as they have a lip.
You better of with the 7mm stuff (what I used) as 10mm may be to large...
You get enough in one roll to do 4 wheels with enough left over for any mistakes, my wheels are in my sig.

Yeh, biketecs range is very good quality, and fairly cheap, the vinyl shouldn't fade for quite a whille, and it's easy enough to fit on...
