Just went to wash the car and went to move the areal up abit and its come clean off the car.
Any way of getting a new areal or can you get grommets to de-areal them?
Thanks

Hi Elliot, go to citroen mate, there is a bung that fits the hole perfectly mate. I believe its an AX part. There was a thread not so long back with part numbers. Looks much smoother with no aerial.

I had the exact same issue with my VTR a few months ago. The ally fitting goes crusty and fails.
Citroen will be able to get them for you, it was only a couple of quid.

I removed my CD player the other day and forgot to plug the aerial in the back afterwards so I have no radio either, life isn't that bad but I should plug it in. CD's do fine!

Get the bung from Citroen (and post the part number up of others can get one too ;)) and then get an aerial and booster kit like Adsayer did, he had his VTS de-aerialed and then put a new one between the headlining and roof skin, its all on his progress thread if im not making any sense :y:

This is the best solution, the internal aerial kit is £15 from Halfords or.........£6 from ebay lol

i de-arialed mine, but properly with filler and painted it looks the nuts, failing that get a grommet!
but cocked up one between the roof and headlining using a length of bare speaker wire...
a bit ghetto but it works a darn treat!

aerials on saxos are shit anyway....there is no proper gasket inbetween the body and aerial body so they leak water when it rains. Weld the hole up ftw

My aerial also snapped off. Does anyone have a part number for the plug and what are they a
ctually used for on an ax?
