oil tube or something ?????????????

tried puttin air filter on to my car but when i tried to take the air box off i came across this wee hose of some sort lol but i dont want it to be left hanging beside my new filter any 1 know wat this is.

Oil breather, does it lead to the cam covers?

does it go to the inlet manifold? or is it from the cam covers?? from the cam covers it wants an oil breather filter
from the inlet it wants to be plumbed back into the inlet
