Official COD4 Thread *(WooF)

At the moment there isn't really a place to organise matches, or people coming on to play at certain times etc, so here's a thread for people to say what time they're going on, whether they want to join the 'WooF' clan (currently run by Tony, Myself and Liam) and generally anything related to COD4.

When MW2 comes out, this can just be changed to 'Official MW2 Thread'

So I will start the proceedings by saying, I'm on for at least some point pretty much every day from 12ish onwards, (obviously with wee-wee breaks) because I have nothing better to do with my time (Until I go off to Uni in September).

Anyone else care to join me? (you don't have to come for my urination breaks unless you really want to?)

There isn't really any set criteria to join, other than

A) Be reliable - EG Accept Invites, come on when you say you are
B) Come on reasonably often so we can get used to playing with you.
C) K/D Ratio of 1.0 or above.

If your semi-serious (we don't like losing but it's pretty light-hearted), and want to join, wack your PSN ID up in here, along with times you are on and we'll take it from there, but It's up to Tony as team-leader to say Yes or No. (Cue hundreds of annoying PM's to Tony :wink:)

* Full credits for the WooF name and any endorsements and branding goes to Tony, also known by his real name, Super_Noobles.

Haha, well there was a woeful lack of co-ordination, so I had to appoint myself "WooF Club Secretary", as well as "tea-lady". You however remain owner and captain obviously. Liam can be N00B killer for his rinsing of that team on Downpour :wink:

I am not keen on Sabotage, HQ or Domination tbh. Especially at level 22 with no Claymore, 3x Frag, P90 etc. If we'd been organised we'd have been quite good. In the sabotage match we could've won if we'd all gone to plant at the same time... But someone was sniping weren't they Liam ;)

Yeah I'm a prime example of that. My ratio is like 4. something, but that's pretty much all from free-for-all where It takes little skill with a P90 to kill at 5:1. In games like SnD it's somewhere between 1 and 2 I guess.

You can see how good people are when you play with them. If we can get 6 reliable people who can be on quite often we can play SnD as a Clan, then there should be some major Pwning. Team-Tac can be good, but If none of us play HQ, Dom, or Sab often then even a good team can still lose.

Ambush TDM and Showdown Domination were good though, showed that we actually are a pretty awesome team despite only playing together for the first time really.

I'll be on at 5ish after the footy is done and dusted. Anyone?

It was done before Craig was plastered all over in the magazines and before everyone started with "wheels painted bright ........" on their progress threads.

Also, the "VTS-VTR" comment, i never wanted a VTS, considered it, but everyone does the R - S conversion, so decided no.

Can still get more power out a VTR than a standard or cammed S, so why not :)

Can even get more power than a Clio 2.0, which will be fun when its done.

I'm sorry Karl/Saxo_89, but seriously why argue over the internet and ruin a perfectly good thread. Yes it is a spin-off of MeoW, I guess that was the whole point, sort of being funny, but you'll have to ask Tony as it was his idea.
