Colour Change

HEy guys im after changing the colour of my car to white either by vinyl or a respray . anyway if i declare it to the dvla that it has had a colour change will i then have to declare it to insurance?


my thoughts are if the dvla no then itll be on the logbook and wont be a modification....

if you do it in a standard citroen colour its not a non standard respray
so all you do is inform the insureance its white now

but if you inform the insurance the dvla still finks the car is the original colour. and if the police pull you over the dvla computer will say this and you can get done that imo anyway. by all means if you guys put me right.

If you change the colour of your car you have to inform DVLA and insurance

It doesn't cost anything to tell them both!

yh ill be declaring it to the dvla to change it on the logbook .

but should the insurance be told ? as its not really a modification . as ill be spraying it just standard white.

mm do u rekon they will insure me on a vts at 19 with no ncb , ive not had any accidents tho ive been on other people insurance if that counts.
