iTunes help please

How and why has iTunes capoied my albums from WMPlayer, converted to AAC then turned one album into several albums with only a single track in each for most of my albums?

Pain in the arse but is it easier to delete them all then copy straight to iTunes again from cd?

How the heck did it copy files from another programme? Ive also got the single song problem too with my Feeder album.

Cant you just uncheck them? Then when you sync the iPod, it wont show up on it.

Nah first time I've used iTunes

Tried unchecking them, dragging them, right clicking etc but there doesn't seem to be the editability of Windows

How is it displayed? In a list, or by album cover?

Will some screen shots help?

You can see the Bomfunk MC's album has had most tracks recorded to the album but a random few have been given their own "albums"

OK.

Id edit out the second artist, on tracks 13, 9 & 12 to see if it puts them back into one.

Failing that, it might be something daft like hiding the artwork. I use that layout too but not had it show up in that way.

Id also double check all the details and make sure that everything matches up correctly.

i think ive you right click on the album cover then on get info at the top,then on that menu click the info tab at the top, you then can type in the album artists name so if you do it on all songs that you want on the same album together it will group them. i get it on my pendulum album were the artist has a different name ie pendulum ft freestylers and then pendulum ft jasmine lee so i put the album artist as pendulum and they go back together hope that made sense lol!

it only happens on albums were the artist names are different like a compilation album or ones were its the artist feat., so just change the album artists name

Although another annoying thing is that iTunes doesn't recognise quite a few of the compilation album covers

just copy and paste the album covers off google images

I just hide artwork.

Rob, I forgot to add 'then insert 2nd artist in tack name eg (ft DJ Rem)'
