i put my car intp the garage as the clutch went to it and the down pipe went they fone me back today and said £370 + vat ..? is that right ?? for a new clutch and down pipe?...

depeds on where you live, imho i reckon thats a good price ONLY if they do the job correctly with no comeback for problems. i have learnt that you get what you pay for in the car game.

Got to think of the labour as well though, make sure that price is with labour inc. otherwise you'll come back to an even bigger bill!

jesus! clutch should be around £180. downpipe shouldnt be an expensive part and wouldnt take much time at all to change
