driveshaft turned out to be loose wheel bolts

i have had 2 people turn down my 106 gti because they said how the driveshafts were about to pop out or were fuked basically

turned out today my wheel bolts were not tight proper! (just one on each wheel)

so anyone else having same noises and knocking could be something that simple! :geek:


now i need two new bolts as the old ones were nackered BAD

but will i need to re tap the hub holes?

the old bolts are very bad(half threads stripped)

i've had to drive on 3 wheel bolts before and the wheel doesn't move even a mm

Were these bolts rattling.. otherwise I can't see them being the cause of the problem.
