I want to do something really sweet & unique to my engine,

Colours, maybe vinyl, OR something!!

Was thinking of doing a wee design on my induction kit once i spray it a colour??

Really stuck for this one, everything else is nice, But engine bay is a wee bit boring! still want a nice clean look tho.

Give me some cool ideas guys???:wall:

Someone of 106 Rallye register can do vinyl i think on any part of a car. I've seen a rocker cover with jelly beans on

thats mine soo far. re painted the bay, engine block is red. polished the gearbox. general red and black theme

I have a forcefeed induction box, i was gonna paint that gloss black and put some small stickers like loads of stars in red at 1 corner of the box.

Im gonna respray my covers red but with a heavy metalic flake.

But do in the induction box gloss black......Or gloss add a light red glitter flake hardly noticable.

Just odd different things..............:P

I just need a fresh look.

Iv just been looking on ebay for vinyl and iv found hundred iv seen a spectrum vinyl white changes in the sunlight. Was thinking of wrapping induction kit, fuse cover & ecu with that then keep everything black!

Not sure how to do the vinyl tho!!!

So might just freshen up paint work on my bay

Still waiting on my red hoses coming.

there was an engine bay kit for sale on 106owners i think, c2 cam covers with the spark plug cover covered in lemon and lime vinyle and a raceland, ecu cover, and fuse ocvers done to match. looked ACE

Na not really a huge fan of them lol they do look good but am keeping my ones on.

just going to freshen things up. doing induction box black everything black apart from the rocker covers. Gonna do them a nice flakey metallic red or white or some other colour which will go!!

Would have been a vinyl wrap. Kind of what people are starting to use more and more on the outside of their cars to change the colour instead of painting.

In my opinion I wouldn't go too crazy. People rarely see under the bonnet. Just make sure it's nice and tidy. Maybe powder coat the induction pipe black and do something black on the covers of the induction kit. Maybe like a black and red theme.

Or go completely mental and spray it with some glow in the dark paint.

I'm not sure on this but i think the lemon and limes one may have been done using hydro graphic dipping/water transfer printing, like so:

glass pipes do look good... but i think killerglass only do em for a limited amount of models?... mostly yank tanks...
