Confusion Disabling my alarm

Hi can somebody please help, I have disconnected my battery to try and reset the abs lights on my dash, but doing this triggered off my alarm which was a surprise as I thought it didnt work as never heard it before. I unplugged the wires to the siren which shut the blasted thing up, the only problem I have now is that everytime I open the doors the indicators are flashing. could anyone advise me on how to stop this? meant to tell you its a mk2 w-reg 2000 vts. i really need help on this asap as it needs to go for m.o.t tomorrow

You need to unplug the box that is held in by a rubber strap in the passangers side footwell on the side of the heater matrix. it will say tex alarm on it.
