Quick question on jailbreaking iphone?

I want to jail brake my iPhone 3gs.
Will this void my warranty if anything happened to it and i sent it back for repair with the insurance i took out.

technically yes, its against Apples agreement.

Insurance though I dont know. If you drop it in your pint they are not going to be able to find out if its jailbroken anyway....

Pretty sure it voids the warrenty, but the insurance should be a different matter.
If the phone fucks up due to water damage or dropping it (Basically anything except for problems with the software) Then i can't see any problems with the insurance.

If somethings not right with it then simply plugin to iTunes and restore original firmware... Jailbreak removed.

Recently did that to one of mine as I got a replacement ;)
