Clio 1.4 Sport or 306 1.4?

Im looking to buy a new car tomorrow, but I just cannot decide which.

Choices are either;

A very tidy R reg 306 LX 1.4 - 80,000 miles

Or R reg Clio 1.4 sport - 80,000 miles

What would you guys recommend?

Really im wanting the most reliable cost of the two. And the one that would cost me the least for parts etc.

Im slightly swaying towards the 306.

Personally, if its priced right, I would go for the 306 cos I prefer the body shape.

1.4 clio would be quite quick, well not very quick but a nippy thing. haven't found the 306 1.4s to be quick probably because they are a lot heavier. I'd go for the clio perfer looks as well.

Hmmm, as I thought.....the 306 looks so much nicer than the Clio! Def the one I'd buy!

306 is a much nicer looking car, and they handle well, clio will handle well and be faster but without sounding harsh that one looks a tad on the rough side so Id go for the Pug.

Try and get some quotes on 1.6 or even 1.9 td versions, you might be surprised and the 1.4s a bit too small for the 306 imo

id deffinetly go for the 306 m8!! ive had a 306 d turbo and i loved it! wish i still had it.
those clios are terrible!

we got the clio sports at work, there bloody small so all your mates should be dwarfs,and imo for a sport there not that quick, clio 3's are quicker so id got fo the 306. wana buy it for me :geek:
