hey guy well a little short story which goes like this

put my amp to be fixed into huett in brighton and i said can i get a quote on how much this would cost to fix..... after 4 months i go to see if its ready and then suddenly he goes, yeah all done 100 pound please i was like what the fuck i only wanted a quote is there anything i can do without them just taking my amp off me

2nd the guy has to open the unit to fault find which takes time and time is MONEY

because i went there 4 -5 time and he still had not found a problem with it and i only asked for a quote he just fixed it and didnt even ring me, even when they said he would ring to let me know now i have a 100 pound bill no amp .............raped............

put yourself in my shoes i only asked for a quote not to get it fixed 100 is steep

well would you have payed 100 is that was a quote?, it all depends how much the amp is worth

thats a pretty steep price to have your amp fixed...
tell them to sod it, and let him keep the amp... you can get a new one.

tbh, id rather have a new amp over a re-furbed one anyday.

yeah its a 200 pound amp ............ i might just go back and say 30 pound take it or leave it

i;d argue with him saying yes u only wanted a quote, but there still will be a bill for looking. see if he'll bring the price down as he didn;t phone u.
