having had my first question sorted instead of making new thread ill edit this has any body ever owned a yamaha dt 125 , the one im going to look at is L reg 30k on it and up for 675 few months tax and test left on. and a big one rear can.

has anybody done this after passing a full car test, i had a provisional bike/car licence when i was 16 although car was valid till 17 obv, once i passed my car test had licence sent away it came back happy days i thought but few years down the line and the im thinking about doing a cbt again and i have no provisional category on my current licence does this mean im going to have to pay another 40 quid odd to the robbing government to get an A category added !! any body had a similar situation

Mine was done on standard car license, but that was a couple of years ago now.

If you have a car licence...

If you obtained your full car licence before 1 February 2001 you are automatically entitled to ride a moped without L-plates (D-plates in Wales).

If you obtained a full car licence after 1 February 2001 you must first complete a CBT course and obtain a DL 196 certificate to validate your entitlement.
