So i'm starting college on 14th September... I unfortunately didnt stay on at 6th form because i couldnt be bothered and just wanted money :y: bad times now because i need the grades to get into uni...
ANYWAY - the point of the story is that i'm not the worlds fastest writer and when i do i cant read what i actually put!
If i show up with my laptop will i look like a complete gimp?! Just remember it's night classes and everyone is over 20 odd :) just thinking it'll be easier and then i cant lose and paperwork!

aye? :fcuk: how many you doing?
im feeling a bit ripped off up here. on the other hand part of our uni (tuition fees i think it is) fees are paid for by the government so you win some, you loose some :y: :n:

In most college's they provide you with laptops to use for work if your not so good at writing, So if you take your own im sure there would be no problem.
I'd phone up just to make sure, and fuck what you look like your not there to model your there to get qualified in whatever so don't worry :)

Good to hear man, enjoy every secound of it :y:..... I go with a laptop, and even if you dont have one You can just ask your tutor to say it again because It's much diffrent at college, everyone is more mature about it all :).

i know about that, im doing night classes from sept 4th and going to uni after that part time :y: im not taking anything for granted buddy
but still fuck that specific college... big one fat middle finger at them (you may have noticed i have a problem with this particular college, i was doing A levels, completed my AS levels and whupped the grades B + B + C + D which i thought was decent but i still got kicked out and wasnt allowed to do my A2 so i had to find other options... oh well it was good to get kicked out anyway but didnt feel good at the time)
the college im doing night classes at is a different one :y:

fair play mate and good on you i wish i could of landed something like that where i was able to further my education while been in a well paid job :( , but to be honest all the job round here are warehouse or work away in a trade, so i have opted for uni and get out this town ha

yeah, uni and out of town does sound good, im from essex but iv been to sheffield hallam uni a few times due to a best mate from school being up there its good and if i was to go there i would plop my st for sale and sell everything iv wasted my £££ on and go off up there but im not keen on that as it would mean id lose a hell lot round here lol
so tbh im stuck in this until i get my uni degree which is a good few years but im alright i am happy with how things are tbh especially bank balance wise and having a nice car and enjoying life :)
good luck with uni and everything mate :) im sure itl all work out in the end, the ones who plan ahead and work hard will always do well imo of course :)

well i have already been lookin at jobs and there was even one in the area that was offering 35 an hour , so im hoping one away in a oil based company will pay even more :) then it will all be worth it and will be able to pay the debt in no time, only thing i think may have been better would of been to go to a uni away from home, but as teesside is a engineering area or was lol it has a good dept at the uni
