Squeaking Brake Pedal....

Just recently i have noticed a very loud squeaking noise when i press the brake pedal down. This is not discs or anythin cos it happens when the car is not running. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if i can do anything about it!!

Bump..... come on someone must have an idea on how to solve this! is buggin the hell out of me...

My guess mate is that the joints on the pedal are just rubbing metal on metal, get some WD-40 lubricating spray and give it all a spray, make sure you clean the pedal if you get any on it or you wont be hitting the pedal but hitting for floor when your foot slips off.
