went to the car b4 and turned ignition on... the indicator relay was going nuts and the top of the steerin wheel started to smoke a bit?

i dont think its the realy as i replaced this a few months ago so im thinking i need a new indicator stalk??

also i drove the car a couple of miles after this had happened and no smoke just the stupid relay ticky noice going mad?

what exactly have i done? and will i be ok to drive the car for a few days till its sorted out?

Hi Sarah,

I think you are right - you need another stalk.

You may find that you can stop the relay clicking by ever so gently wiggling the indicator.

Sounds to me mate like you may have the stalk wires loose and rubbing on a live, think about it when you touch it, your going to be moving the stalk that in turn is connect to the wires, check that first, next is all your hazard/indication bulbs workin, check that.
