there is a slight clunk when i let off the clutch after changing gear .
from what ive been reading this could be the lower mount .............?????
or possibly one of the other mounts
could someone please verify this for me so i dont spend 25 quid unnecesarily

more than likely lower mount however check the cover plate under the clutch and see if that has worked itself loose happend on mine

mine does that ever so slightly when i change to second?? could be the same thing??

Checking the mounts for wear is the best first step, but it could be your clutch also.

my clutch was only done 2000 miles ago......tbh i only noticed the other day when i was driving with no music on and i could here everything!!! ;)
i will check all my mounts over the weekend.....thanks for advice:y:

simple as mate, get under your car and put a bar inbetween the mount and wiggle it, see any movement? then yea its the mount, also shake the engine back and forward and check other mounts as excessive play can cause Engine+Gearbox movement and visa versa.
