Hi all Newbie here
i currently own a Vectra sri.but am giving my car to me mrs when she passes her test.Am currently looking into buying a Saxo vts so hopefully in the next month or so ill own one Fingers crossed.
what advice could you guys give me on the saxo vts or even the vtr :y:

Well looked after ones with few or no problems a few and far between.
But they are cheap to buy and run with parts being easy to come by. Plus they are fun!

welcome and when you go to buy one test drive it and if you hear a quiet whinning noise when you are driving then it wont be to long til you get a gear box problem.

first of all, welcome to the site mate
as a reply to the post above, post your vectra on ebay or auto trader if ya wnt a sale pal,
as for a vts, keep on eye on piston heads, and on the for sale section on here theres a few that come up now and again,
as stated above, coming across a well looked after one which doesnt need anything doing to it isnt easy to come by, but on the good side, parts are cheap and very easy to get hold of,

yeah mate, just click the new post's button above next to search, just read thru, comment and that you wish,
comment on newbee's welcoming them,
comment on peoples progress threads... all ways of geting your post count up and just generally getting involved

i rescently bought a mk2 (53 plate) saxo vtr in posi blue
(my first car) and i love it :P

am use to vauxhalls so this car takes some getting use to gears are so close together :wacko:

sounds allright pal... my vtr is 1999...
n yeah alot of people say the pedals are 2 close togther aswell but it doesnt bother me :S

Hi mate its not the pedals that's really the problem its getting the car into gear i always knock it into wrong gear :wall:
