Sadly i will be joining this group in december when i renew my policy and was wondering what sort of cars other people had in this situation, what price they paid and who they were with. I know i will probably have to pay over a 1000 again but i wanted to see what cars other people insured, without getting bent over backwards by the insurance
Cheers

I'm 24 which helps, but I had my first years insurance under my own name this year and had a crash involving just my car and a post, so I thought I'd be paying a lot more.
1st year, no NCB, was about 650-700.
2nd year, 1 claim for 2200 written off car, 450.
Put my g/f on who is learning to drive which knocked it down from 500->450 but other than that the same.
With Fortis first year and admiral second year.
