central locking

My doors lock when you turn the key as some sort of security device but on odd occasions the doors will lock then unlock again. Only ever noticed it like this which wasnt much of a problem as i was in the car but recently went to lock the car after getting out of it and the doors unlocked again. anyone had this or know what its all about? after a bit of messing about they stay locked or i have to do them manually but would there be any chance of it randomly unlocking when its parked up?

sometimes this can happen if you try to open the door while you are unlocking. Dont know why it does it, seems like some sort of security thing but cant see how it helps anything.

It wont unlock at a random time or anything like that.

But I didn't try to open the door when unlocking. basically when i press the button on the fob to lock the doors sometimes it locks and sets the alarm like it should and sometimes it locks sets the alarm then unlocks again.
