After the controversy at V (meant to believe he performed at Stafford then get viral laryngitis the next day and was to ill to perform at Chelmsford? :/). Could see it coming in some respects, been rumors around for a while.

They have split numerous times.

TBH they haven't made any decent albums since the mid 90s anyway so doesn't bother me lol

although im not a great fan of oasis i like a few of their tracks and they did some good stuff back when i was a kid.

They have always argued, Liam has always been a prick, Noel will have a successful solo career as a result as for at least 5 years he has been the face of Oasis!

I think Noel wasted his talents with Oasis for most of the 2000's ... he should have left once they finished Heathen Chemistry. If He then i'm sure that Noel would have atleast 3 maybe 4 solid albums out by now.

Have to say though i'm not suprised that he has left tbh

Was always Noel that did interviews and public appearances on behalf of oasis, liam only seemed to turn up for the shows if you were lucky, they lasted about 15 years longer than i expected tho all they did from day one was beat the shit out of each other!

yeah but when they were younger they could brush it to the side beacuse they were still "close". Noel has done an awful lot of growing up, while Liam is still using the same attitude problems he had in the middle 90's.

Oasis could have been a massive band in the states if it wasn't for Liam's antics in the MTV awards years back, and the no shows aswell

Noel was the brains behind their music. He wrote practically all the songs and Liam sang most of them.

All though their music hasn't been as good as the likes of Supersonic and Wonderwall, due to them not being as rich as they are now, hence they putting more emotion into their old songs, now there just making songs to get ratings tbh.

Saying that I still like them :y:

According to some stories I've read, Liam may well continue with Oasis while Noel goes it alone.

Problem there being that Noel was by far the better song writer, so what crap will Liam come out with, to keep Oasis going?

Liam has always been the total cock of the band, while Noel does all the PR stuff and interviews, I have mucho respect for Noel, comes across as such a nice, genuine bloke.

If he does produce some music on his own, I think it will be bloody awesome music.
