I worked out my clutch was on its way out, took it to a garage, the bloke there managed to drive it ok, he then lifted the bonnet flick something on the right handside of the engine, now the car wont start and there is no power.

he said it needs a new clutch as it has shattered in the starter motor, and now possibly a new starter motor, had the guy worsened the problem?

Anyone know.

sounds doaft but has he undone the battery conections? there is a fuel pump reset switch on that side but unless he's stuck that down i don't know of anything that he could have done?

Anyone else???

Went and had it out with the guy at the garage he said that the starter motor might be just jammed when he tried to turn it on

I Think the bit he flicked was the bit linked to the clutch cable and then the car wouldn't start after that.
