will a mk1 vts fit in a mk2 vtr

i was just wondering i have a mk2 vtr 3 plug ecu and want to put a mk1 vts engine in 1 plug ecu but as im aware off isnt the engine loom plug tht coonnects tto car loom bigger on mk2 vtr than a mk1 vts what does this mean i have to do to get a vts engine in is the mk2 vts engine loom plug bigger like mine?

from what ive heard on the forum you'l have to get the mk1 vts loom with the engine or spend hours adpating it.
