De-wiper Ring

Anyone actually managed to remove the ring of dirt left behind after de-wipering the rear?

If so how?

Thanks for starting the thread Max saved me the hassle got some brake cleaner at mine will give it a shot tomorrow and let you know if you dont have any...

i have this problem aswell.

Whats the crack with keeping it off the paint? im presuming you dont wana let it go on the paint etc, wouldbe carefull.

Yeah would just take your time with it being careful because its going to have to be a harsh abrasive to get it..

i have tried some window cleaning stuff , T-cut , fairy liquid , dot dot dot dot dot dot dot

someone let me know about the brake cleaner

I just accepted it but break and clutch cleaner gettin used in morning. Cheers

Yeh came off with a hacksaw lol looks good apart from the ring of course lol yeh let me know about the brake cleaner!
