That looks nice man, the standard ones are fairly boring so it's good to have a bit of a go at a paint job!

look forward to the guide.:y: One question though and apologies for the rather simpleness of it, i see you've got a mk1, the badges, how did u get them off? Iv been searching on the forums and im still a little confused, people are saying that u can get them off by gently pulling but some say it leaves behind to holes? What did you have left when u pulled them off? I dont just want to tcut mine, am thinking of spraying them gloss black or flame red the same as my calipers atm but seeing yours...a two tone effect is what id love to go for!

yeah mate..open the boot and youll see the pin holes....gently prise the badge off with a fine screwy..or try even using a hairdryer....that might loosen the glue if their stuck down.....it will leave 2small pin holes..these are possible to cover if your looking to debadge....i personally filled the holes with filler...t-cutted over the holes...polished....lacquered and tbh you cant tell unless your close up. just be careful when you do take them off not to scratch your boot...if u do ull have to get it resprayed (unles your good at painting lol)

cheers for that, clears it up for me finally. im going to have a go at them soon just can't be bothered atm, want to spend a whole day when its not raining so i can wash/clay the car, polish it and then do all the other stuff and finally start a progress thread as well. im just a lazy arse right now lol.

Looks really good. A bit of effort and its paid off. Looks way better than all those T-cut jobs on the badges.
