whats the diff between a mk1 and mk2 and whats more popular ?

The front of the car is the big difference.



Mk2 is more populair I think at the moment.

Mk2 = Rounded Headlights

Mk1 = Grille seperate to bonnet

Mk2 = Grille incorporated in the bonnet

Mk1 = Red/Smoked rear clusters

Mk2 = Red/clear rear clusters

Mk1VTR = 90bhp

Mk2VTR = 98bhp

Dont know to be honest. Cant tell what its like in England. I'm having a hard time finding a MK2 VTS here in holland.

VTR's aint that hard to find here. VTS's really are. Everyone is into that 16 valve monster. <img src= "smileys/smiley5.gif">

I have a mk1 and prefer the front to the mk2...i think the front on the mk1 is much nicer than the mk2
