It'll fit. S1 one funked?
I got a 1.1 box on my vtr. Went from VTR-1.4-1.1, And there was a noticable difference.
sits at 60 in 5th @ 3k RPM.

not sure if read my other thread but thought the clutch had gone so put new clutch in yesterday and still no drive. have an idea maybe the diff but could also be flywheel. got the 1.1 box now just picked up but the oxygen sensor on the front is a bit different not sure how will get round this or can it be left out?

not a good idea putiing that box in, you want a sports box eg vtr vts s1 etc

Nowt wrong with a 1.1 box, done plenty of trackdays with mine on an 8v, not a massive amount longer than a Rallye box, 5th gear the speed is about double what the revs read.
So, when the revs are at 30 (3k), you're doing 60mph, 35 (3.5k) about 70mph. Thereabouts anyway.

ready to put the box on but a quick question about 1 of the linkages and the arm. the 1.1 box lower arm is shorter than the rallye 1 and the linkage was staright without the dog leg in it. does the arm need swapping or can i just use the vts linkage without any problems as dont want to have to drop box again to swap it. thanks
