my exhaust is driving me crazy!!!!!

hey guys

i have a really annoying problem with my exhaust!!

i have a 2003 CTS mk2. there is a springy kind of joint at the front of the exhause that, every time i put my foot down, opens and the exhaust blows badly!!

and when i go over bumps in the road of speed bumps it kind of knocks together! its driving me mad and my car is turning heads but for all the wrong reason!

is there a pipe i can buy that eliminates this piecs of crap from under my car, as this keeps happening every 6 months!!

Replaced the fire ring gasket?

Buy a new fitting kit which will replace all the bolts and gaskets on that joint and that should solve the problem, only about £15 for the set :y:

from your local citreon, decat caused this problem on mine, drove me mental for 2 weeks, i had to order a supersprint fire ring from kamraceing to get the right seal

Yeah citroen is the place to get the kit from. Also make sure that you have the correct size sealing ring as well.

I had the same problem, The little inserts sheared off so i just got some long bolts, nuts and giant washers from halfords, will only be about £7 and much stronger.

Kam Racing sell the full fitting kits for about 15 quid iirc
